COURT DATE CHANGED!

Thank you everyone for checking our blog to see what is going on with Zamara.

This morning I received an email from our adoption agency stating that our court date, previously scheduled for tomorrow, July 15th, has been postponed until July 24th.

Craig and I are having a rough time with this change. The courts in Ethiopia close for the rainy season from August 8th-Oct 8th (or so). We are very concerned that if Zamara does not pass on the 24th that it won't be rescheduled until after the courts open again in October.

Please keep us in your prayers. We are working hard at trying to have a positive outlook on this and to trust in God's timing. It is has been tough to keep our spirits up lately. Thank you for everyone's support and I look forward to sharing good new with you on the 24th.

Laura -

My heart aches for you. Pour out your heart to God.

Psalm 13:
1 How long, O LORD ? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
2 How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and every day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me?
3 Look on me and answer, O LORD my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death;
4 my enemy will say, "I have overcome him," and my foes will rejoice when I fall.
5 But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.
6 I will sing to the LORD, for he has been good to me.

His is good to you and His love is unfailing!

Blessings!- Sherry Semlow

Laura,

I'm checking in from Paraguay (visiting my sis!) and was SO sad to hear the news of a changed court date. How appropriate was the psalm Sherry wrote out for you. May you have peace that passes all understanding in these days of waiting.

Love,
Danielle
